Darkon was the seven hundred year old leader of the Toymaker Labs. Most of her seven centuries were spent outside the Puzzlebox, travelling from world to world, spending most of her time in servitude, originally because she was forced to it, and, over time, because she began to enjoy it. Within her last subjective twenty years, she became a representative of Toymaker Labs, an organization which creates beings not unlike Bubbledolls.
Since around her fortieth year, she's been seeking a means of her own death, which she could not find, for most of that time, because of regeneration which was induced in her, so that she wouldn't be out of action, when her masters wanted her.
Recently, she appears to have found a method which worked, in the form of a space/time disrupting bomb, originally designed by Flyte, and given her by Frostbyte. She did something unusual for the Puzzlebox, even among those who actually die, and left a will, which she appointed Frostbyte to be the executor of. The Toymakers' presence, however, *has* been continued after her death, for in her will, she appointed three directors to take care of operations of the labs.
