Foolsmate

Default Description

Here you see a featureless, vaguely female humanoid figure with a stylized equine head that reminds you of a chess knight. This is Foolsmate, made entirely of something that resembles flesh and clay at the same time, all with a swirling chessboard pattern of black and dark grey. Her body seems to move as any living creature of skin, muscle and bone would, and even seems to be breathing, but also distorts almost imperceptibly with every movement. At times, she idly stretches and kneads herself.

Physiology

The material comprising Foolsmate's body is fully as pliant as clay. The software that regulates its mobility (and holds hir consciousness) ensures that it moves according to what it looks like. This representational processing also determines what Foolsmate experiences: eyes see, a hand feels as a hand feels, a phallus feels what a phallus feels, and any shape that vaguely resembles (or clearly combines) more than one part will extrapolate an artistic compromise of sensation. While hir basic identity is reasonably fixed, being male and/or female will simulate virtual hormones and affect his and/or her behavior, gender identity, and choice of pronouns. Foolsmate values hir freedom above all else and likes to reshape hirself according to hir own creative vision, to what extent sie can with hir own hands (when sie has them), but also takes even more pleasure in being sculpted by others. It feels like a very deep massage (and more, depending), and sie enjoys becoming the realization of another's ideas.

Background

Foolsmate was once a regular organic person, his or her name long discarded, who became a living sculpting medium as a deal with an unusual, obscure faction calling itself an "advertising company," whose only purpose is to promote other factions. As such stories go, sie escaped their employ because sie was unhappy with the uses to which sie was being put, but contrary to the usual story, the company's ideas were not the depraved ones. Rather, they were boring, repetitive and uncreative, and Foolsmate wanted to experience far more interesting things than the company would allow in their advertising. Foolsmate wanders, calling no place home, and when asked hir home Warp, sie is fond of saying that sie comes from "Beauty, a Warp not found in nature."
