Kelil

Physical Manifestation

At first glance, Kelil appears to have some anthromorphic shape, but a terribly generic one - it has a muzzle, yes, and ears, and an attempt at animal features throughout his body. But what shape the creature does carry seems to defy classification... and when it does begin to fall into a recognizable shape, it changes to something less identifiable. Kelil's body is, essentially, an amorphous mass given an arbitrary shape, size, and even mass. It maintains a generally bipedal form, but just as a conciliation to the creatures around it; as you observe, vague protuberances occasionally extend from it to form rough mimicries of extra limbs, or perhaps a tail, or maybe a wing or two. Or three.

It is the avatar of flexibility - formless, shapeless, twisting in on itself and reshaping its physical identity, simply because it can, or perhaps out of a bored desire to fidget.

One thing that never seems to change is Kelil's color - always of an unidentifiable shade, or hue, of some unknown, undefinable appearance - a colorless color. Its voice is androgynous and unemotional, its sound originating in the general vicinity of wherever Kelil's mouth happens to exist. It has eyes, or an imitation of them - a brighter, more luminescent hue of ? in what passes for its head. It wears no clothes and sports no recognizable genitalia; its surface is smooth down to the molecular level, save for whatever extremities it maintains at the moment. It averages around 5 1/2 feet tall - a figure which changes slowly, but ever constantly.

Despite all its mutability, Kelil remains stable in one other regard - the amount of space it displaces stays constant, no matter the circumstances.

Identity

Kelil is a creature beyond time, space, and physical limitations; its kind have gone by many names in many languages, but the word that best describes them is Old. They are intelligent things, observing and changing realities as it suits them. Kelil has taken physical form on Puzzlebox to learn of the (former) mortals and their existence; while the Old generally do not care for physical entities, there is something about mortals and their emotions that fascinates Kelil to no end. It wants to learn - and, perhaps, change.

Kelil is awkward in communication with others - it's entirely new to interaction on a level field. It lacks communication skills, emotion, and empathy... but what it lacks it wishes to fill in some meaningful way. More often than not, its conversations turn to lofty philosophical concerns of the nature and purpose of existence... although it occasionally attempts to commune in less high-minded methods. Small talk is somewhat foreign, and curious to the Old One.

Kelil has chosen the calm, natural, and unassuming world of Topwarp in which to house itself. A dimensional gate within a garden in the Neke-Ovon leads to an improvised plane of existence known simply as the Temple of Kelil. It is a place of silence and contemplation, rarely (if ever) visited by entities other than itself.

Power

Kelil is a creature beyond physical reality; technology does not alarm it, draw its attention, or make any direct sense to it. However, Kelil's basic nature is profoundly powerful - for all intents and purposes, it is immortal, and omnipotent. Within more mundane realities, its will defines reality itself. However, in the act of entrance into Puzzlebox, it has created a pact with itself (and Puzzlebox? Kelil eludes the subject) to exist within its boundaries, rather than react upon them.

Should the absolute necessity arise, Kelil is capable of exercising its limitlessness; however, it cannot be acted upon by mere whim, or subconscious impulse. Kelil must actively and profoundly desire to impose its will upon reality. Otherwise, its most common act of willpower is the formation of its physical form, and the changes that it constantly undergoes - again, a wholly conscious, and continuous act.

Familiarity

Kelil has spoken with several entities upon the nature of reality and mortality. Some stand out through extended communion; others, through unusual circumstance.
