Tall. Stretched. Lanky. Sleek. Fast. A greyhound, in so many words.

Lanky. Sleek. Thin. Bony. These could be all be applied to Velocity, depending on your tastes and outlook on life. The things everybody agrees on, though, are her speed and her personality. Calm and direct, Velocity prefers not to dance around issues when it comes to interpersonal relations. Some aspects of her, however, are closely guarded. She prefers not to say why.
On closer inspection, though, it appears she lacks fur. In fact, she seems to be completely artificial. Her skin is dark grey psudorubber, varying from slick-smooth to sticky griptex depending upon the portion you're looking at. Sliding up her sides are two strips of material, lighter gray than her flesh and slightly translucent, though it's hard to make out any details of what lies beneath.

Changed: 11c12
Appearance is simple: A greyhound done in dark grey psudorubber with texture varying according to what the surface in question requires, going from sleek and smooth to extreme griptex depending on need and whims. Joints, spine, and exhaust ports in the small of her back are highlighted with titanium-nitride-coated aluminum, goldtone metal offsetting the silvery-grey of her hide. Optics are void-black and, while lacking in color and cues, manage not to be too creepy. She is nude, but there's nothing worth taking in anyway.
She's somewhat naked, though there isn't anything worth oogling to cover up to begin with. The closest thing to clothing she's wearing is an electric guitar - looks like a bass - strapped across her back. It's in quite good repair, too. Solid, glossy black finish all over, with chromed components. The cord is neatly coiled around the lower strap, waiting to be plugged in at the drop of a muse.

Like her birth-mother, Velocity is a living engine. In this case, experimental hydrogen fusion. At rest her intakes are closed, her exhaust is only slightly above room-temperature, and there's a naught but a low thrum serving as evidence of operation. Her voice is a quiet feminine synth that carries the same undertone as her reactor core. It's entirely possible that Velocity lives up to her name on the Zipways, given the power she's capable of generating, though she tends not to show off without need.
There's a slot across her chest, just below collarbone level, and a matching slot across her lower back. Each of these has been formed out of a dark ceramic material. These slots happen to flex quite easily with her movements, and angle towards her center of gravity. Were you to look into them, however, not much would be revealed: A pitch-black forcefield abruptly cuts off any view into her inner workings. The only clue is the barely-audible thrum of an active powercore.

Changed: 15c16
You have the strangest feeling that Velocity is watching you, even though she isn't looking at you. Or is she?
Her eyes might be the most striking feature of her design. They're completely black. No texture, no color, no reflection, no movement, just spheres of stolen void set into her skull. Yet, somehow, you can tell she's watching you. You and everything else.

audio:

Yea, it's a guitar. Yea, it's a bass. No, she doesn't know how to play it that well. It looks like [this].
* It's apparently in a sort of variable-time stasis. This would explain why it blew out the first amplifier it was plugged into, has very little wear and tear, yet is still physically functional.

* Velocity's main powerplant by a hydrogen fusion reactor. Primary fuel source is water, which is electrically 'cracked' to release the hydrogen required. She has a small ZPE power source for this task, which doubles as an emergency backup should she ever run out of fuel.

* Velocity does not exist as a seperate character yet, simply an object used to refer people to this page.
* She has a very peculiar temporal signature.
