Factions/Zips

Speed is the goal for this faction. Racing around Puzzlebox in low-slung and noisy suspensor cars, the Velocity Brotherhood spends their time seeking ever-faster lap times and tuning their vehicles. Field technology and nanotech gives ground vehicles a single, wide, flat, tread-like tire, making the entire bottom of the car a moving gripping surface that propels the car along like a hyperspeed slug with total traction. The user is ensconced above in a form-fitting and field-dampened seat, but most hardcore Zips have opted to be integrated fully with their vehicles, so they resemble swoopy, chitinous robots with wheels for limbs, their glossy bodies plastered with sponsor stickers. They rarely stop moving, and often work as couriers. The Zip taxi service is only advisable for the foolhardy. They get along OK with Eisenstimmen and the Fever Cathedral, but anyone who moves too slow earns their scorn.
