Something strange in the proper ways finally bubbled out of the back of my head, so what the heck, I'll see if it gels with the muck.
(Her) name is "Twin", and (she) is genderless - female in aspect, thus the use of female pronouns rather than the objectifying 'it' or the awkward-sounding paragendered pronouns. (She) is of uncertain species - I haven't decided what creatures (she) resembles; the imagery I have so far is more textural and attitude than specifics. Twin is probably some sort of construct, though (her) body seems to be entirely organic; (her) body appears black at first glance, but is actually covered in subtle, hypnotic swirls of patterns that go down to molecular levels of detail*. Sometimes clothed, sometimes naked, (she) is absolutely lacking in genitalia, or any hint that such a thing may have existed. This is not to say that Twin is a sexless Puritan; (she) just has no genitals. (She) will actively resist attempts to "remedy" this "defect"; (she) is perfectly capable of finding sexual pleasure in the forty-seven other known manners.
Twin's background is as blank as (her) crotch. (She) might be an eccentric asthete with an interesting body-mod; (she) might be a sentient black hole warping space into a stimulacrum of flesh; (she) might be a shared hallucination; (she) might be something extruded by Puzzlebox itself. Something will materialize over time, if it needs to. (Her) name itself is an unanswered question: who or what is (she) twin to? Or does Twin just like the sound and taste of the word? Whatever her history, (she) is something sleek and a little spiky; another permutation of that femme fatale that I can't quite pull off iRL.
I'm interested in PB because it looks interestingly different from the usual. And where the hell else could I play a genderless but not sexless black hole? Or whatever (she) may reall yturn out toe.
