Illusha is shaped rather like a shelled disc: low and round, supported on a twitching mass of segmented legs, clicking claws, waving antennae, and eyestalks that move in a peculiar ballet to track eir surroundings. Ey looks rather like a radially symmetrical lobster. Eir voice is a high, sweet combination of whistling and sung vowels, with no consonants, but punctuated by the rattling click of eir claws. Eir carapace is painted in abstract swirls of a hard, glossy paint; a collection of tiny, demisentient insectoid skutterbugs crawl constantly over em, updating eir paint scheme on some unclear aesthetic line. Electrodes dot eir shell; when ey clicks eir claws together, they complete various circuits and send brilliant arcs of colored electricity dancing over em.
Illusha is a native of Bottom, an oral lorekeeper of that Warp. Ey has modest reputation -- by Bottom standards, which far privilege entertainment value over any concept of 'accuracy' or 'intellectual rigor.'
One of eir most popular talesingings is a Bottomwarp creation myth.
Ey is one of the Masks.
