A toy's perspective on existence
Yeah, I'm a toy, big deal. Just look at me and you can see that. A body made of plastic rods and balls? What else *could* I be? That doesn't mean I'm one of those Toys, though. I've got a will of my own, and I'm planning to keep it, thank you very much. Just because an accident of creation made me a plastic construct doesn't mean I'm going to let you get away with treating me like I'm some unthinking object. If I want to be smarter than you, I just need to add a few more sticks and balls to think with. Oh, you thought I use my head to think with? That's the trouble with organics. They all expect others to be just like them. That's the only reason I keep this shape, or this mask. So I don't have to build breasts for organics to stare at when talking to me.
A toy's perspective on factions
The factions? Sure, I know all about them. Like I already told you, I'm not one of those Toys, and I won't be. I don't like them or their orderly cousins, the Bubbledolls. If I wanted to be a slave to others' entertainment, I would have stayed in the creche where I woke up. In fact, all the Charm factions are right out. They're good dupes, but that's it. The Bonobians? Have you even *looked* at me? Despite the abundance of shafts and balls, I'm not exactly built for sex. Ah, the Modulari. I was wondering when you'd bring them up. Yeah, I'm on good terms with them, but I'm not a member. They expect too much of people. Like a mind they can copy into one of their id boxes. Oh, tired of guessing? Wimp! It's not nearly as interesting if I just *tell* you that I'm a Hemotopian. ::grin:: No need to run away *that* quickly. I'm just teasing.
A toy's perspective on living space
Not the best phrase to use, considering my non-living status, but I 'live' in Up, where I keep a nice workshop, as well as an entertainment dome, for those occasions when I have guests. Feel free to come by and visit me any time; since I never sleep, you'll never wake me up. Of course, unless I've got a *lot* of inspiration, I don't stay there all the time, so at any given time, there's a fifty percent chance of actually catching me at home.
