Karna hails from a place in Puzzlebox far distant from the Mess, where, ages ago, some unknown madman or faction created a pocket of Terran history in a controlled environment and threw off key historical events, causing history to distort itself terribly. In Karna's home pocket of recreated history the Terran Second World War simply kept on going and the Third Reich took utter control of Europe. Karna himself was the result of the twisted madness that ensued as the Nazi regime moved forward into the future of technology at a neck-breaking pace, a monstrosity of a soldier built step by step through genetics. While countless clones of creatures just like Karna exist in that pocket of history, this particular one was sent to explore and return with data on what was beyond the 'edge of the world', a literal reality in the faux copy of the Terran world. And so he embarked out into the Puzzlebox until he came upon the Mess.. Where all of it's decadance, drug abuse and sensory-fuckery very quickly lured him into a similar lifestyle. As it stands he now enjoys his life in the Mess and has no intent of returning to where he came.
