They're cute, as long as you don't mind them not being careful with their claws and teeth. After all, they regenerate naturally.

A pair of [very strange critters] (they hatch two to an egg, you know).

Short, segmented tail. Legs for leaping. Two toes on front legs, three/four on back, one on arms. Not taur. Arms midbody, raised high, could become wings or claws. Don't forget the fifth leg, middle back beneath the body, giving them seven limbs (eight if you count the tail-stub).

• They're mindlinked (of course). Synchronised.
• They're friends and partners and family for life.
• You just know they're recently returned refugees from some older version of Strangewarp.

"Scared of a scratch? Oh for dying out loud!" "Pff. Forget that arm, it'll grow back."
