:Just found a good [carousel!] Or did Characters/Carousel? want to be a ride? ;)

[OOC] - This area is part of a special building project, creating an amusement park in the clouds of Charm's sky. Name a room for the park, and give a description of any length for that room. Name one or two places it links to. I will try my best to incorporate it into the actual on-muck design. Oh, and I'd also like suggestions for the name of the place. - Echo

Oh, hey, how about Yellow Submarine for an inspiration?

Courtyard

This is the main yard of the park. Up here, you can see clouds and towers and rainbows. They don't go on forever, but it sure seems like it.

Links to: all centrally-connected areas of the park.

Rides!

Duh.. gotta have that carousel, maybe a roller coaster, definitely a ferris wheel.
An neverending water-slide, where you can just get off over the side to splash harmlessly into the water pooling from the overflows just below?
(I tossed that idea in on Imagination Consortium as an example and then thought it might fit well here.) - Grace

The Grand Circus

Three rings to entertain the kings of ages gone by
Five for the friendly souls with their hearts all stolen
Nine for Bubble Dolls taught to fly
One for the Big Show when it's on
In the land of Charm where the beauties are.

Links to: the Courtyard. Other circus-themed rooms.

Cheerful, open, translucent. Taller and pointer than it has any right to be. Bright plastic with swirling transparencies of different color. Multi-poled, asymmetrical. Graceful. Up one day, gone the next.

Young Dolls wander about, offering entheogens, refreshments, themselves, anything you could want to help enhance your enjoyment of the show.

Kinda sounds like home!

Perhaps like [this] only more colourful?

The Arcade

Must have an arcade or games gallery somewhere in there...

The Funhouse

A bit of visual inspiration: http://ackegard.com/gallery/demons/planetoid_G
Themes: Think of all the little tricks and traps in every big funhouse you've ever been to. Exploration, playing with rationality and self-image, poking fun at fears, that sort of thing.

Links to: the Courtyard. Maze-themed rooms?

Gardens

Plant gardens, water gardens, machine gardens, plastic gardens, cloud gardens... pick a theme, mix and match, let 'em grow!
