CHANNELS

*Newbie: This channel is exclusively for help requests from new players, and offers of help from experienced players. Please keep all requests and responses down to one line each and take follow-ups to private pages, to cut down on distracting spam.

*Notepad: This channel is intended as a place to share spur-of-the-moment inspiration with other players -- mostly about Puzzlebox plots, projects, and characters, but ideas for any creative projects are fine. Feel free to expand on other people's ideas.

*Public: The channel is for general purposes, but players might find it useful to split off into new channels (". <channel> #on") if a specific type of topic starts to dominate the channel.

*Wizard: For the functioncore only. You wouldn't like it anyhow. It's mostly just a bunch of hyperreal godlike waveforms, bitching about busted causality and stopped-up chronolingustic drains and suchlike.

ETIQUETTE

*Please consider that Puzzlebox is a primarily IC, roleplaying-centered MUCK. We certainly encourage our players to socialize OOCly, but it should never, especially on the dot-com channels, be considered rude to suddenly drop out of an OOC communication. If somebody disappears from a channel for no reason, please assume they were suddenly caught up in an intense scene somewhere and meant no offense.

dotcom is a muck-wide comm/chat system, with multiple channels.

It's off by default.

From the help display (". #help"):
