#REDIRECT Characters/Grace
I am Grace's player. Many of the older people here know me by the name of Grace and it is the name I do most of my edits to this wiki under, so it will service.

This page is mostly for listing my alts. Because I have a sickening number. I'm also going to over time add OOC discussions of where ideas come from or what it's like to play the characters, much like other people have done on their own username pages.

Alts: Grace, Hydra, Etiel, Roll-a-Roll, Neg, and a secret alt. (Neg was a secret alt, but I think I'll out her now). Hydra has countless variations on herself, appearing as Hydra/Beta, Hydra/Gamma, etc.

Grace

Believe it or not, I created her quickly as a random application character just to get in while I figured out how to develop another character idea I had.

She was originally an adaptation of a character I created for a very short-lived and not particularly good RPG campaign. I kept her background (spider-demon escaped from hell) but threw out everything else about the character and recreated her, then sent her in as my character application. Since then, Grace has evolved vastly.

Grace turned out to be far better than the character ideas I intended to be higher-concept. I never created those characters.

Hydra

Hydra is a host of anime/manga influences, believe it or not, as well as other odd inspirations. Neon Genesis Evangelion, Serial Experiments Lain (possible goal for one thing), Clover (primarily one of the stage costumes of the singer, which inspired Gamma's looks), along others.

Epsilon is effectively a verbalization of the mess in my head.

I originally created Hydra in response to a griper saying Puzzlebox didn't have enough serious plots with long-term consquences. Even back then the griper was missing several ones, and since then, it's swung rather more toward that end, and it's the simple and bubbly plots that are in short supply. Anyway, I created Hydra specifically to be a villain character. She makes an interetingly complex one.
