To be written up and built on PB...

The Sphere is located inside the Neke-Ovon, and was the home of the Ovon's resident theatre company. Neke drama has been alluded to in [previous scenes] on the muck - with elements of classical theatre, and more than a little influence from Michael Manning (chiefly the "scroll", a highly explicit 'morality play', from The Spider Garden). It's intimate, with plenty of private box seats.

It is currently being regrown by Amanita in preparation for her first major concert (more about this at Amanita's Concert).

View from the box section:

"Yes - the doors in this place are completely messed up. It's down here now," says Amanita, strolling over to an archway. Beyond is a dark hallway with many doors. Picking one, she ushers you through it. On the other side is a small balcony, with a couple of sumptuous couches for seats, surprisingly close to the thrust stage. Elsewhere in the seats, space is clearly bent, so as to give everyone an equally good view.

Catwalk:

The door emerges onto a catwalk towering over a stage, the walkway more like a long, flat tree-branch than part of a building...

The structure of the Ovon itself being organic, something like the Winter Garden Theatre seems appropriate for inspiration: see [image]
