* Pirates vs. Ninjas :It's something I've been thinking about for a while now. The age old two sided conflict of Pirates vs. Ninjas. It's meaningless fluff in our world, but in a world where you can be anything and represent any artform with your whole being, I think it would be great fun for the artwar. :Down in Bottom there could be a skull-shaped island where the pirates live, and nearby or far away there would be a nipponese pagoda where the ninjas live, and they'd host artwar. The Pirates would turn anything they would influence into a more piratey thing. You know, island themes, parrots, colonial stuff. The Ninjas would make things more ninja-y, anything japanese, but especially making ninjas, or other japanese fighting archetypes. :It's basically a big archetype conflict, where the more archetypical you are the more influence you have, and since they fight with eachother they try thier best to make things suit thier own archetype and not another. The big limitation on both of them is that within thier own archetype, neither has the ability or desire to force the archetype on something else. Thus, they can change things, but cannot force things to stay that way. That's why they have to keep changing things over and over, fighting over areas that are pirated or ninja-ed over and over, as well as people! :I chose Bottomwarp for the center of this conflict since the 'Do what you feel like' attitude of that warp really seems to fit in with the idea of Archetypes and devoting yourself totally to one. :- By Relee |
