The Toys
Torque makes, designs or otherwise fixes up a number of interesting and unique items to be found. Most of them are somewhere to be found on the Freeway. This by no means a complete list of various things Torque has laying about.
Finished Projects
- The Noise Machine: Torque designed, ojou, shinsei, and Induction-Coil built. A very large percussion instrument on the Freeway.
- Sheetmetal Symphony: Relatively small, compared to the Noise Machine. The Symphony works on sypathetic resonance, making all metal near it start to vibrate and shake. Makes a good throb/buzzing bassline beat to the the Noise machine's music.
- Gravity Field Manipulator: Torque 'borrowed' some of Lysette's designs and created a device that can alter local gravity. Though mostly he just uses it to negate gravity in an area so he can float around with Lysette, he can also increase local gravity to a degree.
- Esmerelda: Torque's bike, and one of his proudest inventions. Faceted wheels, independent engine drive, Magnetic braking and suspension, and a smaller, weaker version of the Gravity Manipulator to increase or decrease weight as he needs it on the bike.
- Data Manipulator: One of Torque's most obscure works, the Data manipulator works by transforming matter into energy of distinct data, some what like a combination of a backup system and a instantiator. But Torque came up with more interesting utilities then just backing stuff up. Known program functions of the Data Manipulator are Cut, Paste, Copy, Move, and Create New. Torque is actually concerned though as one copy of this particular technology has gotten away from him, integrated into his old arm Tiskel.
- Scan Wave Converter: A present he made for Lysette. It collects various "junk" electromagnetic spectrum waves and converts it to electrity to charge her battery.
- Human glasses: Lovely little set of Augmented Reality visors created for Sweet William. They are designed to edit out people in his visual field and make them look like relatively normal humans. They are partly sentient, if uncommunicative, so can be rather creative with how it masks paticularly odd or large individual and keeps the images consistant.
Still in the Works...
- Torque's torc: An ambitious project that Torque's been working on for quite a long while. When it's finished, he intends it to be a collar, of sorts, that sets people free instead of enslaves them. He thinks its rather ironic and novel himself.
