able to detect a distinctly formal British accent.Friends and Acquaintances*Madame Theda is my mistress. She is a glamourous, beautiful film starlet- a truly sophisticated woman. You have heard of her, perhaps? *System is a charming, if somewhat uncultured girl hailing from Up. What (she) lacks in social charm, (she) makes up for in politeness. *Mel and Squizzle, the Curators, are very helpful and serving, although it appears quite unusual that they do not do all they can to ensure that their Museum is enjoyed! *Strange Frostbyte is uncouth and barbaric- just look at the bleeding armor! I do not trust him. |
Edmund Baxter, bodyguard and servant for a silent film starlet.
Edmund Baxter, secret keeper and parlayer of information in a place where only information can fail to escape scarcity.
He looks like this:
Chin raised high, the gorilla ambles his way through the world with only the highest of pretenses. His black-skinned face, while appearing quite stern, smiles subtly, displaying the reserved charm characteristic of many a Topwarp denizen; he squints thoughtfully at the world through a monocle perched upon his right cheek, held in place by the broad, apish brow. The hair on his head is neatly combed to the side, parting on the right. His back arches naturally for a gorilla, his top side bent forward slightly and favoring the powerful arms. For one so formal, his physique is obvious.
His black tuxedo, adorned with a black bow-tie and covering a white undershirt, is neat and proper, devoid of wrinkles and stains. Black fur peeks out from underneath his white cuffs, disappearing upon his black, meaty hands, each decorated on the ring finger with a nondescript chrome ring, matching his cufflinks of chrome and opal. The tuxedo coat is neatly buttoned once, perfectly fitted, and a white handkerchief is neatly folded and placed inside the right breast pocket. Its coattails drape neatly across his backside.
The gestalt of his vestments are completed with a pair of pleated tuxedo pants, gray stripes running the length. A gold pocket watch is chained to his belt, neatly tucked into his left front pocket when it is not in use. The pants reveal bare, handlike feet at their ends. While they are certainly capable of grasping and manipulating objects, he infrequently does so with them, for in Top, one simply does not do such things. When he speaks, you're able to detect a distinctly formal British accent.
