Commons: noun. 1: A central space, owned by all the people of a town (originally this was public farmland, but more recently has been simply a park or greenspace). 2: The "lower" house of a royal parliament: the House of Commons (as opposed to the House of Lords). 3: An event full of old-style democratic debate, which follows very loose parliamentary rules, held occasionally on Puzzlebox MUCK whenever issues need to be discussed by more than a few people.
A highly OOC event where players gather on the muck to discuss things. Everyone with a character is invited, as well as anyone who happens to have a guest-pass handy (just ask one of us). These meetings are generally very heavily attended, so various means of dealing with large amounts of text are encouraged. Afterward, playfulness prevails.
