Principles

The Data Exchange is dedicated to the accumulation of information and resources in the hands of its members through cooperation in research and through exchange of skills and information to outside persons to use those persons as a resource for the gathering of data.

The Data Exchange was founded, and is currently led, by System, its 'Director'.

Organisation and Resources

Members of the Data Exchange are generally skilled either in technical matters or in interpersonal research, and coordinate with each other in mutual arrangements to ensure dataflow on subjects of interest to each other. A significant subset of Zeta Sector locals have made arrangements with the Data Exchange to use its complex in Zeta Sector as a gathering place to encourage increased traffic by persons to take advantage of their skills, and funnel information or arts of interest to them in exchange for their services. System requests a tithe of data gathered by the individual vendors in exchange for this arrangement. The faction is openly contractable for research or investigative work; System can arrange terms for such a contract. Prospective members should contact System to establish their willingness to cooperate on research. Factional headquarters are located in a black-walled complex in Zeta Sector of Upwarp.
