A long time ago Star-Lemurs came to Charm. They came in ships like enormous starfish, in vast and colorful caravans, on the backs of sky-browed tien-lung and on foot, wrapped in scarves and saris, with the dust of many stars on their slender feet. They brought gifts to Theeka and the Bubble Dolls, toys and baubles and clockworks: Then they took their ships and caravans, their tien-lung and star-dust and from them made a city in the center of the sky.
Star City is a big place, a floating city shaped like a starfish with five arms sprawled out to touch blue sky and puffy clouds. From far off it's all neat and geometrical, but up close the edges of the star fray off into fractal architecture; glass and wood, stone and metal, pennants and balloons. Up close the city is layered, tall structures like spindles linked together with a maze of tube roads, bridges and walkways. There are bright murals everywhere, hanging forests like jungles [miles] long from canopy to root and crazy, crowded agoras. You can walk, but the fastest way to get anywhere is flying there!
Neither the city or its inhabitants appear to believe in street signs.
There are aircraft everywhere, from sleek things as quick as peregrines to the big star-ships that drift in now and then from somewhere else. The fastest thing in the city might be on the road, though! During the Star City Rally the tube roads shut down and racers from all over burn rubber! Zips usually win, but it's all really popular.
During the Wanderjahr, Star-Lemurs leave Star City to see the world. When they come back there's a big party!
Star-Lemurs are long-limbed people with wide eyes and triangular faces, nimble digits and prehensile tails. They have short, silvery fur and skin that's white, yellow or tawny gold. Their eyes, noses and tongues can be any color, but purple and blue are common. Star-Lemurs are genderless, energetic and like most civilized people live forever.

The Curator faction has made a political, peace offering to the Star-Lemurs of a spinning gravity testing device refered to as Yo x2. [Accepted! -Z]
Nobody knows what Star-Lemur brains might taste like (purple?), but research into this has been proposed.
