Lysette grapples in, reaching out to wave, looking a little tired, "Hi!" she chirps anyhow.
Flyte murmurs, "Lysette.."
Diafeara steps inside, bringing a momentary burst of sound with them.
Flyte murmurs, "Hello."
Flyte merps. "Diafeara. I was starting to wonder ..."
Trilogee flutters softly and greets silently with a nod.
Flyte murmurs, "...you're wearing clothing. That's different."
Diafeara steps in, and nods to Flyte. "To wonder?" She moves across the room, in no hurry.
Lysette smiles to Flyte.. "Yeah.." she coos softly.. "I spent the rest of the night back at the Orion, but I had to go back home in the morning discuss a few things. Don't worry.. I was safe.." she offers, her tail clicking behind her. "Theeka's still back home, even. She was a wonderful guest!"
Flyte murmurs, "If something had happened to you."
The flamecat's skin is nearly black; the darkness is broken by vivid jagged veins of glowing molten oranges and reds that ebb and flow over her body, shifting with her moods like tempermental lava streams. Perhaps all of five feet tall, she is slim but invitingly curved and entirely feminine. A long sinuous tail weaves in constant motion around her ankles. Razor-edged and glimmering, her claws are not merely decorative.

Her face is somewhere between sweet and sly, innocent and wicked. Eyes like dark and fathomless voids, without pupil or sclera, are wide set above a dark smile that holds too many glittering, pointed teeth. Overly large feline ears, each pierced dozens of times with faceted crystal hoops, poke through chaotic hair: some hangs past her hips in fat braided ropes, the colors of flame, reds and golds and oranges; some stands up in soft, floppy orange spikes that now and then cover an eye.

A tight skirt of glistening black leather is wrapped tight around her hips, beginning below the curve of her waist and ending high up on taut thighs. She also wears a long coat of the same glistening black leather, simple in design. Unbuttoned and loose, it is wide-skirted and sweeps the ground when she walks. If she leans just right, one might glimpse the faceted hoops that pierce both nipples. She sees you looking at her.
Flyte murmurs, "I am glad. I have yet to meet the BubbleDoll Queen but have heard much."
Diafeara smiles faintly. "Oh, lots has happened to me. She reaches the desk, and begins to pull things from the drawers, slipping items, unseen, into her coat.
Flyte murmurs, "...you [smell] different."
Lysette wags happily, "Hey Diafeara. What's up?" she asks, still drifting through the air.
Induction-Coil watches Dia, a bit confused, a bit sad. "YOu're leaving...?"
Flyte trills to Trilogee. "And you, I still don't know.. how are things?"
Lysette rolls a paw out to Flyte, grinning warmly. "Oh! She's wonderful fun. She'll happily do anything for you! I'm having her keep sabina company right now.."
Trilogee smiles to Flyte. "Ever confusing. As always."
Diafeara looks at Flyte steadily for a moment, and then smiles. "How so, Flyte?" She then slides her gaze over to Indi, and nods once. "The Heliquary isn't home any more. I think it's time I left it." There is no rancor in her tone, no bitterness. Just simple fact.
Flyte murmurs, "I see."
Induction-Coil just nods, quietly. "Who will run it now...?" he asks.
Flyte murmurs, "...Where do you go to now, Diafeara?"
Trilogee flicks an antenna, listening to something outside, but remains silent.
Flyte finds Lysette's choice of companion for sabina especially suitable for a number of reasons.
Lysette considers, "Hey, can I have the Heliquary if you're not going to need it anymore?" she asks, wagging warmly.
Diafeara is selecting things carefully from the desk. No matter how much she takes, the coat does not bulge. "I've had my island for some time. I expect I will spend my time there, when not working." She eyes Lysette calmly. "It is not mine to give."
Trilogee raises a finger. "It belongs to Helix. I met Helix once."
Flyte murmurs, "You smell of... paper.."
Flyte murmurs, "...I speak metaphorically."
Flyte seems to be having a lot of trouble explaining the subtle change.
Diafeara laughs humorlessly at Flyte. "Perhaps you should not?"
Lysette blinks, and nods, "Oh, I thought it was Dia's. Sorry about that." she offers, bowing through the air, a bit of a kartwheel through it.
Diafeara says, "It was always Helix's. I ran it in his absence."
Flyte shrugs. "I cannot. It is a case of subtle postural and pheremonic adjustments."
Flyte murmurs, "I wonder if Helix will ever return."
Induction-Coil sighs "I'd sure like to see him again."
Kehari steps inside, bringing a momentary burst of sound with them.
Flyte murmurs, "Hello, Kehari."
Lysette cants her head softly.. "I don't know anything about Helix. But I'd not mind being caretaker like you were, regardless." she offers, smiling. "Though I wouldn't know what I would be doing so much, I think I could learn!"
Diafeara shrugs, and offers no opinion. Closing the last desk drawer, she begins to move among the tables, selecting drugspheres carefully, slipping them into her coat. One here, one there.
Flyte sings some gentle notes to Kehari. It is merely a greeting.
Diafeara says, "I care very little what happens to the place."
Lysette's tail clickclicks as she waves upsidedown to Kehari.. "Hi dear!"
Flyte murmurs, "Cold, Diafeara. You weren't always like that."
Trilogee looks at Lysette calmly, cocking her head. Then returns to her pipe.
Kehari smiles around and waves to Flyte, the tones of her greeting dying on her lips as she watches Dia move around the Heliquary. "You're... wearing clothes." o_o
Flyte cocks her head to the side, assessing Diafeara further with her big, wide eyes. "Not unexpected traces of .. hm. Well, we'll see."
Lysette shrugs softly, "Whatever, Dia. If there are no objections to it, I'll take care of the place until Helix can be reached to appoint someone better." she offers.
Induction-Coil shifts over a bit closer to Trilogee, frowning sadly...
Trilogee strokes Indi, not looking up from her pipe, expression uncharacteristically blank.
Induction-Coil leans into the stroking slightly anyway...
Diafeara meets Flyte's eyes again, her own fathomless. "Is there something you would like to ask, Flyte? I would not have you struggling to solve mysteries needlessly."
Trilogee strokes with a slow, careful rhythm, measured and level.
Flyte laughs flutteringly. "You've made a life-changing decision. I can sense that much. I am curious what will happen next."
Kehari slowly moves to Lysette's side, still watching Dia. "What's going on?" she mutters to the floatyena.
Diafeara murmurs drily, "I expect my life will change." She continues to move among the tables, graceful and unhurried, carefully choosing those items she favors. A pipe here, a glassine envelope of herb there.. Into the coat.
Lysette's arms reach out. They catch Kehari's shoulder, curl around her front, and she finds herself anchored, so long as she doesn't hold too much of the dark viqsin. "Diafeara's giving the place up, so I'm going to be perhaps taking over caretakership, if no one is distressed about it!"
Flyte murmurs, "I don't mind."
Flyte murmurs, "But I have little say in it."
Flyte rubs her muzzle and tailflitters.
Trilogee is silent on the matter.
Kehari blinks, mildly surprised. "Whoa. I feel like it's the end of an era or something. So what're you going to do next, Dia?"
Lysette rolls her shoulders, "Well, I suspect two people have say, and one doesn't care, so I'll wait on the other and take care of the place until a final answer is reached." she smiles.
Flyte listens, in case Dia divulges the answer this time.
Diafeara picks up a small hookah and studies it. "Do? New projects, new places. Who can tell? It is not the first time I've started over."
Diafeara sets the hookah back down, and moves to the liquor cabinet.
Flyte murmurs, "You're cadence of speech has changed."
Kehari snorts softly and smirks. "Wow, I can see clear through to the other side of that one."
Diafeara looks at Kehari mildly. "What do you see?" She returns her attention to the bottles, and selects one. Into the coat. Another.
Kehari simply states, "Nothing."
Lysette's nose touches the corner of one of Kehari's ears, her eyes half liding pleasantly as she blows out across the other girl's cheek softly, wisping smoke through the air.
Diafeara just shakes her head, unperturbed, and turns away from the liquor. "How nonsensical of you."
Flyte murmurs, "...you're very curt and businesslike."
Diafeara smiles politely at Flyte. "I have found little benefit in being otherwise, of late."
Kehari turns and nuzzles at Lysette's shoulder, lazy. "Yes, how Upwarpian of you," she murmurs. "Thinking of moving into Davan's old place?"
Flyte nods, smiles. She looks like she's formed a quiet hypothesis.
Trilogee just continues stroking Indi in the same, calm rhythm. She just watches her pipe smoulder.
Lysette's tail clicks curiously enough, but she holds about Kehari's collarbones, leaning forward to rub her muzzle slowly under Kehari's cheek. She doesn't follow much of the conversation, her green eyes lighting the air before her and the dark viqsin.
Flyte tries not to feel faintly scandalized about the waste of good dope.
Diafeara's lip curls, very, very briefly. "I think not, Kehari. I have my own island. It will now serve as my home."
Kehari whispers, "Yeah, it was, but I figure Kehari feels like I feel right now, tired and a little aggravated, so I let it flow." to you.
Kehari mmmmhs tiredly, giving an earflick. "You're taking over Elysium? You'd be perfect for it, I'm sure Jeremy will be very pleased to hear the news."
Lysette giggles. "That's the only island I can think of.."
Diafeara smiles tightly. "The smoke is perhaps too thick for you, dear. I have my own island, and no need to take one over."
Flyte murmurs, "...are you alright, Kehari?"
Flyte murmurs, "You seem... irritable."
Flyte tilts her head at the vixen. "Perhaps something is missing in your life." She does not elaborate.
Lysette's tail clicks happily enough. "Where's your island? Not as public as here, I imagine?"
Kehari murmurs, "M'about as good as I'm gonna get..." And she starts murmuring a little tune, probably slower than it's supposed to go. "o/~ Tapdancing... on... the last... nerve....o/~"
Diafeara says, "It is not public, no."
Diafeara moves to a small escritoire in the corner and begins to pull from it sheets of vellum covered in symbols and formulae.
Kehari mutters, "Just follow the sounds of tentacles squirting out of a pussy, you'll find her."
Flyte murmurs, "That's rather uncalled for, don't you think?"
Kehari whispers, "Wow, where are these coming from? :D" to you.
Flyte murmurs, "Diafeara and you have had your differences, but seriously."
Trilogee kisses Indi's cheek softly, a sudden deviation in her pattern.
Diafeara chuckles, very softly. "I wonder from where this bitterness comes."
Kehari mutters, "Actually we made up, didn't you hear? Doesn't matter now though."
Kehari snorts quietly. "Stupid. Can't even tell the difference between bitterness and indifference drivers," she murmurs.
Diafeara's attention returns to the papers. "Indifference tends to be less sour and insulting."
Flyte murmurs, "I find myself agreeing with Diafeara."
Kehari corrects, "Lazy indifference does."
Flyte looks concerned at Kehari. "This really, really, isn't like you. Are you thinking properly?"
Diafeara tucks a sheaf of papers into her coat, and holds the rest in her palm long enough to incinerate them.
Lysette shrugs her shoulders lightly, "Whatever works.."
Diafeara brushes the ashes from her hands and then smiles. "Pardon me.. A few last things."
Diafeara steps into the Garden.
Kehari sighs quietly and glances meaningfully at Flyte. "You know."
Flyte murmurs, "Yes."
Trilogee twirls the small black pipe in her fingers, and it is gone. She still strokes Indi as if he were the only thing around her.
Flyte murmurs, "But that doesn't excuse the hostility. Don't be her."
Kehari murmurs, "But you don't know everything."
Kehari snorts quietly. "Oh, please. That firey bitch is the last thing on my mind."
Kehari says, "She's just a convenient outlet."
Trilogee rings, "It's about your latest project, isn't it?"
Induction-Coil shifts a bit closer to Trilogee, resting his head on her shoulder and sighing softly.
Lysette's ears rest back finally.. "Well. In any case, no objection is noted. Unless Helix finds someone better or kicks me out, I'm going to take care of this place!"
Kehari's eyes almost ratchet over to Trilogee. "...What project?"
Flyte murmurs, "Kehari ... calm yourself. There are other ways to bring your emotions under control than venting on Diafeara. Also, she would be a dangerous enemy."
Flyte murmurs, "Who's project, Trilogee?"
Kehari murmurs, "...dangerous enemy..." and starts giggling. Then laughing. A lot. Loudly.
Trilogee smiles softly. "The one... That.." She reels, eyes flickering silver. Her voice is changed, completely, soft and calm. "The one the blue one has been working on. You work with her. WE remember... But WE will not divulge further." Her eyes return to black, and she slumps limply.
Lysette's eyes darken a little.. "Love, stop it. You don't need this right now.." she murmurs, her nose trailing up along the dark vixen's ear..
Kehari's hysterical laughter tapers off once Lysette murmurs to her, fading to a single quiet sorrowful sigh. "OK, you're right..." she murmurs. After a moment to gather herself, she looks back at Trilogee. "It's not about that. My part is done, I just have to pass on the data. Hell, I wish that's all it was..."
Trilogee winces. "Ow. What part?"
Lysette's hand reaches up quietly and brushes Kehari's cheek.. She rubs her muzzle slowly down, leaving wisps of her scent on the vixen's neck and shoulders.. "Good girl.." she whispers.. She listens quietly.. "I know time runs thin.." she whispers.. "I'll be here for you, always, though."
Flyte has no idea what THIS is about, and tries to figure it out.
Kehari isn't divulging any more info. She's busy huddling against Lysette.
Trilogee scratches her head, and blinks. "Who was /that/?" She's staring at Indi, now.
You whisper, "Lysette mentally caresses, a soft kiss through the datalinks.. "Its no good to have this on top of everything else, I know. I'm in charge here now. The Heliquary is ours. Diafeara is nothing to care about, especially not right now. It'll be all the harsher before you go in if you focus on this kind of thing too much.."" to Kehari.
Diafeara enters, with the sound of rustling leaves.
Flyte stands and stretches. "I should go soon.. project to work on."
Induction-Coil blinks slowly, clearly confused. "WHo was.. which...?"
Trilogee rings, "Someone talked through me again."
Kehari whispers, "Kehari huddles, seeking on that comfort. ~I know, I'm sorry. I just... my patience isn't very long right now... That's no excuse though, I know.~" to you.
Diafeara returns, still smiling as she straightens the sleeves of her coat. "I believe that's everything." She nods to Flyte. "Always good to see you, Flyte." She smiles politely to Indi and Trilogee, and then looks steadily at Kehari and Lysette. "Please, feel free to contact me. Anytime you find you have.. needs.. that your other friends are unwilling to help you indulge." She bows, and leaves the Heliquary.
Smoke and haze cling to Diafeara as they slip outside.
Flyte murmurs, "...that was unusually disturbing."
Induction-Coil rubs Trilogee's arm, and nods. "I.. kinda wondered, yeah.. Not one you've been before..?"
Trilogee shakes her head. "Don't even know what she said."
Kehari surges to her feet, suddenly ready to kick Dia's ass... who isn't there anymore. "Fucking CUNT!" Flyte looks aghast at Kehari.
Lysette coos softly.. "And that's that.." she comments. She huffs at Kehari.. "Hush, she's *gone*. Consider her out of your life.."
Kehari grabs a discarded hookah and hurls it at the door with a growl and a shout, where it shatters to send fragrant water and glass everywhere.
Lysette of course, is brought along with Kehari.
Trilogee shakes her head and sighs, standing slowly. "I believe... I need fresh air."
Kehari pants heavily, then suddenly glances down at her hand and starts swatting at it.
Lysette's hand quietly wraps around Kehari's collar as she very calmly pulls.. "As much as I understand, anything more will have more ramifications than just within your own mind, love.." she whispers, her eyes growing deeply, darkly blue..
Flyte murmurs, "Kehari, please.. you're not helping yourself."
Kehari pants and nods and just sort of sags where she is, still standing but like a marionette with its strings cut. "...sorry..." she whispers.
Induction-Coil nods to Trilogee. "MAy I come with you..?" He smiles apologetically to the others. "It's not you, it's just.. I dunno.. I liked Dia.."
Trilogee nods softly to Indi. "You may." And she slides through the door, stepping on glass with bare feet.
Smoke and haze cling to Trilogee as they slip outside.
Smoke and haze cling to Induction-Coil as they slip outside.
Lysette's hand pulls the collar, she reaches up and she wraps her legs around Kehari, she breaks her gravity and pulls her from the ground with a with a grapple, and she quietly whispers to her.. "She's not worth it. Who in life do you really value?"
Flyte sighs. "[]", she curses, suddenly, and walks out. She has work to do. "Lysette, you know where I'll be."
Smoke and haze cling to Flyte as they slip outside.
Kehari clings fiercely to you, shivering like it was ten below zero in here. "You," she replies without hesitation.
Lysette coos softly.. "The only reason I would care about Diafeara is if she did something to you, or if you cared for her.. Otherwise, she's been something to observe, but definitely not touch.. She should not matter to you. She has nothing to do with you or *anyone* anymore, besides Besax, probably. There's nothing to be gained by bothering with her, and everything to get burned on. I have you.. and you have me.. and we need to focus on *us*, and what would keep us together. She is nothing of the sort.." she sighs softly.. She clings tightly, her body hot, nearly overheating.. "I love you, Kehari.. Whatever's going through you, I do with all my heart.."
Kehari whispers, voice shuddering. "Fuck her, stupid bitch. Thinks she's so smart but she's the stupidest one of all, just Besax's oblivious puppet. She's his finest creation, you know. She's a work of art to him..." Another breath and a gust of a sigh. "I love you so much..."
Lysette shakes her head quietly, breathing slowly.. "You didn't need this verbal knife play tonight, I know.." she whispers, thoughts of the exchange trailing through her head.. "I don't know much about her.. I don't care to. Let her go to her island and rot in her cage, we have the world before us, and we don't have to let her back in.. We have more than anything she could offer.." she whispers.. Her eyes close.. "I love you, more than I can say, but as much as I know you know, Kehari.." she whispers, her muzzle rubbing slowly under yours.
Kehari murmurs, "We're going to be OK... We're going to be OK... We're going to be OK..." Whether she's doing it for herself or your benefit, and if she means it, who knows...
Lysette whispers.. "I'll make sure you are okay or I will die trying. Come on.. let's go back to the Orion, lets go see Flyte.." Her arms pull tight around you, and she reaches out, grappling out from her newly acquired establishment..
