The powers of text

Meta-info. Concerning textual nature. Everything you know is composed of 26 letters. Everything you know can be turned into vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines. Everything you know can be flattened into the second dimension. Everything you know can be twice flattened into dashes and dots. Everything you know can be thrice flattened into a single point of presence and non-presence. You know everything. You know nothing.

So you see, Margaret...

Mod extends a paw, and scatters autumn leaves.
Mod's leaves come from his sleeves.
Mod leaves.

System states quietly, "It is myself. I fabricated a new shell. And this... entity... has made me somewhat upset. He distorts data."
Mod stops laughing and lounges. He's still smiling though. "Everything is Dada!" he says.

remember this well

just phosphors on a screen cohering into patterns by persistence of vision and practiced eyes - dots to letters to words toconcepts to characters - anything you can write, can happen, if consent is given ...but there's another person much like you, wonderfully the same and intruigingly alien, creating those patterns, and seeing yours.
