Though the InfoProgrammes present information from an unapologetically Up perspective, they do enjoy use in other places; Your Friend the Instantiator, for instance, is often used by Outreach to help orient refugees from pre-abundance societies.
There are some stylistic hints that one or more or the InfoProgramme developers may have Toppish sympathies or history.
The InfoProgramme Screening Room is shaped rather like an amphitheater, but one with a roof and walls. Every surface is a soothing shade of matte charcoal; comfortable seats are ensconced in boxes that expand or contract to exactly suit the needs of one's party. The stage consists of a plate of what looks like brushed steel, upon which the scenes manifest. Background may also be projected onto the smoothly curving walls. The Screening Room is deliberately understated -- the room's purpose is the programmes that show here.
