Networking 101
Trans. Five-foot-seven male cheetah. Posesses a cybernetic InfoHUD mounted over his left eye, a slimline respiratory enhancement rig that allows him to function in any situation where there's oxygen to be found, and a high-test neural uplink port at the base of his skull. Brother to Cend.
Cend. Five-foot-six female cheetah. Posesses a cybernetic InfoHUD mounted over her right eye, a miniaturized sensor suite sculpted to look like a third eye installed between and above her organics, and a high-test neural uplink port at the base of her skull. Sister to Trans.
Trancend. What you get when you install a permanent full-duplex link cable between the two beings listed above. Trancend expands upon the near-psychic bond some sets of twins have. Trancend is both Trans and Cend at the same time, though which one is in which body can be a bit of a brain-teaser. Which is exactly how they like it.
History
Born someplace in Bottom, Trans and Cend were a fairly standard set of twins for several years. Neither twin has never really ventured outside of their home warp, and for that matter never did anything really notable. Only recently have they visited Down, preferring it over Up's chafingly sterile atmosphere, after getting the idea that lead to the installation of their cable and other hardware. Trancend seems to have decided that life outside of Bottom is rather more entertaining than they thought at first, and has taken quite a liking to wandering around and looking for new and interesting things.

Imperative, specializing in dual-perspective/perspective-shift sex, though they've been known to do more artsy things from time to time.

Applied Networking
Lithe, fast, graceful, and sleek are all words that could describe the pair of felines you're looking at. It's a part of their heritage, after all. Neither cheetah is particularly striking in appearance, and each prefers a sort of clothing that could be described as "functional yet comfortable".
Wearing a simple pair of khaki cargo shorts and standing slightly taller than his sister, Trans' only defining features are the small display lens over his left eye, the seamless metallic blue tracework along his muzzle and throat, and the cable leading out of the back of his head. His voice is quiet, and has an odd harmonic undertone when he speaks.
Dressed similarly to Trans, save for the addition of a matching top, Cend is slightly shorter than her brother. Her defining features are a display lens over her right eye, a stylized bluemetal implant between and slightly above her natural eyes, and of course the cable attached to the back of her head and connecting her to her brother. Her voice is soft, lacking the harmonics of her brother, yet carrying a distinct musical tone of it's own.
About that cable. It's about a dozen feet long, resilient to the point of absurdity, and it seems to link these odd siblings' minds in interesting ways. They can communicate with each other without speaking, as well as allowing the twins' personalities to swap bodies. This cable is marginally intelligent in it's own right, knowing enough to keep itself out from underfoot by coiling, twisting, and snaking any slack between the twins up out of the way.

Trancend generally like
everyone, unless given a reason otherwise. Notable personae, for better or for worse, are as follows:
- Aaron. He needs to learn that size isn't all that matters, though the twins still care about him as if they were related anyway.
- Coalesce. Quite flexable, and a co-star of theirs.
- Echo. Fun to play with, and a very good entertainer.
- Mother certainly isn't theirs.
- System. So delightfully different!
- Variable. Such a sweet, innocent soul. One of the few people they genuinely, selflessly love.
- Zedda. Zie's a good friend and is just so damned interesting, though they do think zie needs to find an interior decorator...
