Camilla is a humanoid dragon, standing somewhere over 160cm when hir head is held high. Hir bristly hair is white, draped below hir shoulder-blades. Two catfish-whisker barbels descend a dozen centimeters from eithir side of hir pointed face, curled lopsidedly. Irregular whiskers protrude all about hir cheeks and jaw, culminating in a rather thin Van Dyke beard on hir chin. Two pointed nubs are visible on hir head, the beginnings of stag's horns. When sie smiles, hir bony cheeks reveal delicate dimples.
Camilla wears a Tibetian li-shu robe, adorned with fourteen brightly-colored symbols, such as the sun, a pheasant, a tiger, a willow tree, a Chinese dragon, etc., with a noticeable bulge around hir lower belly. Sie often keeps hir hands in hir sleeves and stands stock still, though hir long, tufted tail can't help but twitch, or thump the ground angrily. Camilla sees the world through heavy-lidded, large yellow eyes, and sie moves with economical grace.
Camilla's scales in this picture are a heavenly blue, but hir hair remains white, hir horns are a dull gold. In the right light, the tiny diatom scales of hir hide can be seen, as well as the larger ventral plates of hir neck and belly.
Background
Camilla is pursued by a variety of beings, including the dragoness-triplets known as the Startouchers (Matins?, Meridian?, and Midnight?), and the enigmatic techno-sorceress Shen Mi, a qiling of unknown origins. Camilla professes amnesia as to her origins, but she must know more than she lets on. Camilla has something to do with a process or plan known as the "New Gold Dream."At one time, Camilla became radiation dependent. Later, Camilla joined the Bonobians to change hir physical make-up to abide the unruly nature of the Puzzlebox. A row in Elysium has her banned there until further notice.
Technology
Camilla is a product of ylem distilled through concentrated od force, folded through a Klein matrix. While her being is tune with the cosmic flow, a flaw in the original topology -- perhaps the result of sabotage -- has given her sentience that can pass Turing muster, an unintended consequence. Camilla herself is no technologist and wouldn't make much sense of any of that. Camilla has a known sensitivity to variations in permittivity and permeability, although exactly how sensitive and to what end is not commonly known. She is only aware that fluctuations in these qualities give her discomfiting headaches. Strong radiation, in various forms, has various effects on her, some good, some bad, almost all intoxicating.Camilla has recently shown her ability to insustantiate atomic explosions.
