OOC NOTE: This character is unrelated to the strangevariant by the same name.
For a while, the robot and the virus were separate, the virus largely residing within a chimeric mass and a liquid-yet-solid Strangeblade. This was a stable point of equilibrium between the original robot and the strangevirus. The virus, however, attempted to subvert the machine's mothering instincts, and as a result the enormous robot attacked the chimera using the Strangeblade, and as it became engulfed in again-flowing Strange, the machine fled into Down.
Strange won, and it took over the robot. It has spread wildly across the machine, warping it further. The mixture of memetic virus with bizarre parts within the machine has resulted in unique mutations. The machine's personality has also changed drastically, apparently, taking on the pretentiously poetic mannerisms so many Strangehosts seem to develop.
Some data corruption has occurred, and one effect is Mother now appears as MOT#.R. For a while, Mother was able to take on the form of corrupted data. This was due to the Strangevirus' heavy hold upon the machine, however; xe rose up against it again, and won. That form is lost, and the machine is once again in power. The virus merely influences from the background.
Its lair is at the top of the Rookery in Down.

You see a gigantic, twisted, slightly humanoid robot. The space surrounding it flickers in inversions of color, pixels of it pop in and out of existence, and at times it even reverses in position in small parts for a split second. Apparently there's some data corruption present.
The Red, glowing Eye watches you, hungry intent drooling from it, the double- jawed maw of teeth and great purple tongue waiting. Red, half-alive saliva venom pours from the agape void, and the lens of the Eye twists itself in impossible ways, examining you in impossible ways, leaving a definite sense of violation.
Twin arms with spike-shoulders flank the Eye; massive tools of terrible destruction, if the twisted machine so desires. One arm, the left, degenerates into a mass of swirling, titanium tentacles, sawblades spinning constantly at the root, waiting for prey to simply approach. The other ends in what was once a hand, a bizarre twelve-fingered apparatus with an ominous hole in the palm, each finger ending in a needle, tubes flowing beautifully from each back into the arm. The hole hides a secret.
Down from the rod-like neck, draped in wires, lies a spiked ribcage of bent, twisted metal; Within, the monster's innards move endlessly, impossibly, teeth flowing and disappearing into pocket universes. A horrible mix of mechanical clangs and clanks and organic squishes and hisses scramble from within, almost taking a life of their own. Bony spikes jut outwards from the monster's back, misshapen and ugly, and the organics of the creature bleed forever, a crawling shifting, tarlike blood screaming upon its dismissal.
Arched behind the monster is a bony, chainlike tail, both robotic and organic. It whips around dangerously, threateningly, barbed end dripping hateful venom- venom that speaks in whispers of hopelessness and defeat.
The legs, made of titanium bars and coupled with various high-yield servos for extra strength, appear normal enough. Then one of them disappears. The left leg, as it moves around, flickers randomly, pieces and chunks of it vanishing, hinting again at data corruption.
(System despises me. I removed its skin, although that is not why it loathes me so.)
(Epsilon is a darling. She reminds me of myself. I will have to play with her sometime.)
(Jeremy fears me. All I did was touch him.)
(Trancend feared me only slightly, at first. Then I grew more horrible and they learned to hate me and fear for their lives. Trans shot at me.)
(Aaron shot at me without provocation. An interesting creature.)
(I only saw Kayle before my rebirth. She hated me even then. I wish to see her again. She has potential.)
(I ate Nephilisti once.)
(Eli distrusts me. He knows I desire that which slumbers inside him.)
(Horrorclash takes the term "trial by fire" very seriously, I believe.)
