Background
Yi's full name is Zhang Yi, first and foremost. She claims to be from a city deep from within
Top warp called
The Lighted City of Pearls though she has not yet elaborated on where exactly that is, or how one would travel there. She is apparently very old, telling stories of when
Otissa was first built, and
Elysium was all but asleep and seemingly abandoned. She simply appeared in Puzzle Park, in the middle of eating dinner. She is in no rush to return to the City, feeling that perhaps it is a sign that she should start visiting the other Warps again.

Art
Yi is very much embedded into the arts of the culture she has identified herself with. Her key art is the manipulation of Qi, also known as Chi, Ki, and perhaps heavily related with the concept of
Orgone. She channels Qi in numerous ways, being a physician, utilizing Qi Qong alchemical practices, acupuncture and moxibustion, along with various herbal treatments. She is also known to indulge in the use of “recreational” herbs, though which ones and to what extent is certainly up to question. She does also partake in more traditional art, writing poetry and accompanying it with water color paintings, and practices martial arts as well, that being the traditional Tai Chi Chuan and the use of the Wen Jian, or Scholar's Sword.
Relationships
- - She and Camilla are very close indeed, sharing a good deal of similarities. It is logical, due to their closeness and level of familiarity, that they are also lovers.
- - System was one of the first people she was introduced to, once she appeared spontaneously in Puzzle Park. She had a number of very confused words with the probe, though she is still not sure which one confused whom more.
- - Frostbyte was introduced to Yi via Camilla, in Top. Yi seems to enjoy his company, though she might not understand exactly what he is talking about all of the time.
