Nighzmarquls

the entity known as nighz has ceased to exist, permutated out of any form of being beyond the memories of those who dealt with it, lo even a universe may choose to die and be reborn, so it has come to pass that all of this is only record of what once was.

This is a storm of sapience, a being which carries the equivelance of a world's entire population in its vast connective 'mind'. Recently its become more, cohesive and 'different' in purpose and function. It seems to lack the desire to consume other sapience now and persues other 'projects'.

Muck Description

Shining eyes flare with radiance that could not possibly absorb light. fin like aquatic morphology, glass fronds and coils giving semblance of hair or mane. Shimering feathers of crystal. Body a shimering kind of blackness with a glint of backlit violet. A cloud of spores slowly settle around it as it 'breathes' and ripples of space time are omnipresent in its wake.

History

The Short Version: A failed ascendant intelligence? a schizophrenic gestalt? badly merged plural? This being has a past of rampant sapient 'gluttony' and carries a chorus of intelligences rambling through a cavernous intellect. However this method of 'evolution' seems to have left the nighzmarquls entity almost feeble in there intellectual immensity. It explores with a core of childlike loneliness that it can no longer even understand amongst the inner thought noise.

Preference

All things are good for all experiences add to the experience... However Nighzmarquls is a bit confused in the area of desires, its only way of feeling meaningul interaction is in its attempts to incorporate 'other' with itself. It some times branches out of this but underneath it still thinks it wants to devour any sapience, especialy those it senses as being similiar to it in the lonliness it does not accept afflicts it.

Tech Level

Quantum-Tech and direct spatial manipulation. Nighzmarquls/its original species developed many forms of technology that bring it essentialy to a post scarcity state, however in the chaos of sapience that they now consist of there is only a kind of instinctual manipulation of time-space (think VERY fine control of einstein style gravity) and matter/energy on quantum levels. It is actualy rather clumsy at complex molocules or structures, dealing more with fundamental things and the connections that bind them on minute levels.

Mementos

• A Gem of frozen air thrown at them by System, preserved in a place of insulated layers of time space. Treasured by nighzmarquls as a connection to its 'elder' universe prime.

• A Watermelon instantiated by Lysette, looped in a constant state of destruction and perfect re-assembly. Its tasty!

• A Digested Form of Clockwork's Sapience, including a copy of his audio memory.

• A Piece of Red Shiney Candy tossed at it by Talia. made with 'LOTS and LOTS of sugar'

• A Population formed from the 'archtype' of Levi they are all very cute and rampently living within the ecosphere of Nighzmarquls.

• A slice of lemon pie that Echo had in her pocket. It has been cut into halves an infinite number of times and each piece is held in a glass case in its own seperate shrine of black marble scattered all over a twisted time space.

• A flower plucked from the Galleria of Topwarp by System, it has hence been used to generate an entire flora based ecosphere.

• Integrated forms of the Charm and Strange virus, Possibly infectious 'spores' emited near constantly.

• Bits and pieces of Mother's infectios strain of Strange virus Received during hug.
