Zeta Sector is the dark side of Order. Beyond the benign control that keeps the rest of Upwarp a calm and civil place to live, Zeta's rules are near absolute in nature and dictated by the faction controlling the territory; for casual explorers caution is advised.

Although some of the other sectors use variable lighting or just pre or post-dawn light conditions, Zeta is the only one that simulates full night. The gentle breeze, bright stars and twin moons are relaxing, but a nagging feeling at the back of your mind remains. Another thing standing out is the Upwarp Quick-Transit System suddenly coming to a complete stop, the tunnel ending with a hermetical seal to prevent further construction; a unique condition that caused no end of frustration to its engineers, this is the only place in Upwarp where the carriage actually backs up. Despite the night time conditions, the sector itself is quite well lit, with strong, sharp lights illuminating streets and complexes, casting black shadows into corners and alleys. A large display is projected over the wall by the station, listing locations and rules applied to those areas along with strict warnings about obeying them. On the cement floor someone spraypainted a white gratiffi with a stencil, the Helvetica letters reading "This is Omega", a small lambda pi serving as signature. The street layout is very uniform, with sector coordinates clearly marked out on corners, however along most streets are either a large building or a wall-enclosed complex, rows of small buildings a rarity. You can see a singular figure hurry by now and again, groups of no less than three standing on corners quietly talking, but overall the streets look deserted. Despite the graffiti at the station however, the sector is clean and upkept.
