A shiny bauble...

Echo

Echo has inhabited the Puzzlebox since birth. Having travelled its many realms and found very little of interest (how many pretty hills can you see and not be bored by them) this sentient finally encountered the Mess.

Echo's original body was human. Being a meditationist, focused inward, that original body was explored as thoroughly as a human mind can.. and finally one day was left behind, collapsing into dust. Echo is now a free spirit. As such, other bodies (usually provided by prior arrangement with the Puzzlebox pattern-storage systems) can be inhabited, and frequently are.

Interestingly, Echo could also appear to subdivide or multiply. Perhaps this was a quirk of being able to restore extra bodies from backup; new instantiations were sometimes called forth, all of them sharing each other's information in full. Thus, the momentary lone Echo was numbered zero, and additional Echos given increasing numbers. When only one was extant, it was designated zero once again.

At some point, Echo must have given up fear of Strange. Eventually, time was spent in meditation before the Statue there. Mel's encounter with the estranged Sebkha interrupted this, and Echo dedicated some time to the guardianship of Phys-FM. Eventually, that effort was decided to be unnecessary. Meditation resumed.
It resulted in a new transcendence. As such, Echo's public identity and capabilities are shifting to keep up.

Currently, Echo is made of bundles of ghostly tendrils; multiple location and extended awareness are all through the same being. Often a tendril might slip in out of nowhere to briefly converse with someone.

Echo flutters tendrils, energy pulsing across their lengths. "Hello."

Miscellaneous

Echo is slowly gathering a group called the [Free Expressionists]?, a sort of art colony with ties to the Curators.

Echo is just a little arrogant, often assuming that most persons encountered have achieved the same level of fufillment (if not enlightenment). Emotional metaphors can occasionally be mistaken for physical declarations. Perhaps this is a cover-up or a ruse of some sort.

Echo's internal voices (the mental conversation most people have with themselves) appear to now be speaking externally to some extent...

Relations

Echo seems to be somewhat less involved in the goings-on of others.. many are known, some are physically intimate, very few are truly close.

Ardra? is worth a mention here. A past lover, currently a very nice snugglekitten.

Camilla came seeking knowledge. It is willingly given, what little there is to give.

[OOC] Anyone who wishes to add themselves here is welcome to, including newbies - remember, Echo has been around a while; you might have met at some point. Name/link, brief comment.

Trilogee has had a memorable encounter: "Well, Echo was there while I got a memory put in. It was interesting. Echo has always been kind to me, at least as far as my limited memory serves. Everybody could use a friend that's willing to perform brain surgery with a mad scientist."

Traditional comments section

I'm not really a traditionalist. Put comments wherever you like, right?

An old friend met again. Neverknown before but yet there. In interesting conversationalist, and that datavixen is just damnably cute with those glasses. Pineapple. -- Clockwork
